Birthdays

Birthdays combine the unplanned, spontaneous environment of a party with the need to be present in the right moments to capture those once-in-a-lifetime events. And, since they are often indoors in dim lighting conditions, you need to know how to shoot in low-light situations. Tricky to say the least! However, they also show people at their best. Laughing, dancing, eating good food, and enjoying good company. Whether for a first birthday or a sixtieth, I think they’re just too much fun!

Ryley R.

Ryley’s Mom had some serious medical problems and almost didn’t make it to her 60th birthday party. It was a privilege to be there with her adoring friends and family as they related exactly why she means so much to them.

Jasmine J.

Jasmine’s little man celebrated his first birthday at home surrounded by friends and family, and she wanted to have someone on hand to capture candids of all the guests and festivities.

Ashish R.

Ashish’s son celebrated his first birthday in style! He had a miniature three-piece suit, balloons, confetti, and an Indian banquet which left nothing out. It was great fun for everyone with dancing and music all night.
