Parties

The trick with photographing a party is to capture the overall ebb and flow of the event without being in the way. You also want to make sure to get good individual portraits, couples, and friend groups. Finally, you want to get a sense of the decor and vibe of the space. It’s great fun as a photographer, and requires all your skill and senses on high alert!

Erin C.

Erin wanted to throw her husband a grand party as he retired after a lifetime of accomplishment from one of the most prestigious architecture firms in the world.

Brian F.

Brian hosted a Halloween party for all his friends this past year, and he wanted good photos of the event. Not wanting to trust to drunken selfies, he hired me to attend!

Misty B.

Misty runs a non-profit which organized a dedication for a new U.S. Marine Corp memorial near Denver. She wanted a photographer to cover her activities during the event for her non-profit.
